If you’re looking for a truly unique venue, choose American Celebration on Parade. With over 9,000 square feet of open space, American Celebration can be used for almost any type of event, from company meetings and holiday parties to trade shows and job fairs. It even offers a quirky backdrop for weddings. It offers table seating for 600 guests. The space can also accommodate up to 50 trade show booths, with additional seating area for dining. Known as “the gathering place,” this historic, 1920’s strand theater was restored to accommodate events of up to 290 persons. The two-story taproom features original stage doors and window board posters, brewing equipment, and an open floor plan. Large garage doors open up the tap room to additional seating outdoors. In addition to the tap room, a private bar with balcony and conference room are available to groups for smaller gatherings. Attendees will be treated to local craft brews, wines and ciders as well as locally sourced, smoked meats.
Nestled between the Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains, Bryce Resort offers breathtaking views at each of its event venues. The newest of these venues, the Shenandoah Center was opened in 2018. This 2400+ square foot room features open spaces, sweeping views of the slopes, and a large, stone fireplace. The resort’s Copper Kettle Restaurant embodies a vintage ski lodge experience with 30 foot high ceilings, white washed beams, and stone fireplace with distressed mantle. Floor to ceiling windows overlook the ski slopes. The Copper Kettle Bar & Lounge offers a more modern experience, with a U-shaped bar, dance floor, and renovated, contemporary features.
Nestled in the foothills of the Shenandoah Valley, Cave Ridge Vineyard is world renowned for its estate grown wines and unparalleled service. The vineyard features five unique event spaces, including a rustic pavilion and barrel room, upstairs event space, “bubble decker” bus, and European-inspired courtyard. The vineyard’s cozy, upstairs event space seats 100 and overlooks the courtyard below. Within the courtyard, wisteria climb the columns fronting the barrel room. String lights illuminate the fountains and cobblestone below, creating a romantic ambiance. Steps away from the courtyard, the pavilion provides an open air event space for you and your guests. Together, they seat 300 people. Groups looking for a unique experience may consider the “bubble decker” bus, an authentic double decker bus with an indoor bar.
The restaurant is located on the lower level of the Edinburg Mill building, a Virginia Historical Landmark since 1848, which has outside access from the courtyard inside the flood wall. It is handicapped accessible and there is ample parking. Heritage Mill Wines 1848 and banquet rooms are also located on the lower level. Located on the upper levels is the Shenandoah Valley Cultural Heritage Museum and visitor center.
The Fort Valley Nursery and Garden Cafe seats up to 200 guests in its indoor greenhouse and outdoor gardens. The spaces may be rearranged to suit the needs of any group, whether you are planning a wedding, party, or corporate retreat and offers a peaceful ambiance amongst the plants and flowers.
Limestone Ledges Disc Golf Complex consists of three courses, with options of play for all types of disc golfers. The ‘UPPER MEADOWS’ will be a challenging 18-hole course, offering White & Blue Tees, and A & B Pins. This course is designed for Intermediate and Advanced players. The ‘LOWER FOREST’ is the shortest 18-hole course, offering Red & White Tees and A & B Pins. By staying close to the parking lot, it’s designed to be a family-friendly round of Disc Golf for Novice and Intermediate players, and a challenging putter / midrange round for Advanced and Expert players. The ‘MASSANUTTEN MONSTER’ is our PDGA Gold-level course, designed to challenge every aspect of an Expert player’s game. The front-9 follows the 18-hole “Lower Forest” course, and the back-9 follows the 18-hole “Upper Meadows” course, sharing Tees & Targets. Additionally, there will be practice putting green areas!
Muse Vineyard offers an intimate retreat for teams of 20-25 persons. The spaces within the tasting room serve as venues for breakout groups while the kitchen serves as a refreshing approach to team building. Team members will be given the opportunity to share in the art of meal preparation and develop trust and camaraderie as they work alongside their peers. At the end of the day, a complimentary wine tasting awaits team members.
*Optional: small groups of up to six persons may stay onsite at the vineyard’s historic farmhouse. The farmhouse boasts an inground pool, eat-in kitchen, modern amenities, fire pit and charcoal grill. An exposed log interior and grand fireplace reflect the charm of this 1700s farmhouse. If so desired, the vineyard’s chef in residence will prepare a meal and wine pairing for your guests
Pleasant View Barn is a wonderful wedding venue situated on a beautiful 20 acre farm built in 1796, with a large, rustic barn. The venue showcases stunning views of the Shenandoah Valley. Located in the historic Mount Jackson, Virginia, Pleasant View Barn is 2 hours from Northern Virginia, 30 minutes from Harrisonburg, and 1.5 hours from Charlottesville.
As a family owned and operated venue, the Pleasant View Barn staff is able to assist with each event personally. With a large 400 capacity barn, the venue is perfect for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, receptions, and events. The gorgeous outdoor landscape provides additional ceremony opportunities. This working farm features a rustic barn and acres of rolling hills for the perfect backdrop for your wedding. Food and seating can be made available inside or set up tables and enjoy a meal overlooking the gorgeous shenandoah valley scenery.
Route 11 Potato Chip Factory hand cooks kettle style potato chips prepared the old-fashioned way! Start with great potatoes; use high quality oil & good seasonings. They take advantage of their small size & make chipping a personal art form.Not too long ago, just over 10 years, with lots of potatoes, good oil, salt, serendipity, and a little luck, Route 11 Potato Chip Factory sprouted in an old feed store in Middletown, Virginia, which has now given way to its facility in Mount Jackson, Virginia. All chips are hand-cooked which you can view through the big windows in the retail store that allow you to see the entire process, with the exception of the peeling of the potatoes. There are plenty of chips to sample and purchase and there is no charge for fry viewing.Individuals, families and small groups are welcome at anytime.If you are coming specifically to fry view, it is best to call in advance to make sure we’re cooking.Group Tours: If you have a large group (15 people or more), please call ahead.
Looking for a truly unique wedding venue that you and your guests will never forget, then Shenandoah Caverns is the perfect venue for you. Enjoy the sparkling backdrop of Diamond Cascade located within the natural underground caves of Shenandoah Caverns. Located just off I-81 with easy access, Shenandoah Caverns is the only caverns in Virginia to offer elevator service ensuring that guests of all abilities can attend.
Located in the historic Edinburg Mill, which was originally constructed in 1848. The building is famous for being one of the few mills in the Shenandoah Valley that was not burned by Sheridan during the Civil War. The museum is now open Monday-Saturday, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm and Sundays 12 pm-5 pm and is home to a variety of exhibits featuring life throughout the Shenandoah Valley including exhibits on the Civil War, the nation’s first Civilian Conservation Camp, an extensive Red Cross exhibit and many other relics. The site is group friendly with an extensive gift shop, Heritage Mills Wine 1848 and the Edinburg Mill Restaurant.
Shrine Mont opens in the early spring and remains open through the second Sunday in November. Shrine Mont can accommodate retreat groups and conferences ranging in many sizes. Family reunions and individuals are always welcome. Individual reservations are accepted on a space-available basis. Shrine Mont hosts church retreats, military respite, camps for children, meetings, and conferences for religious and secular groups, high school bands and sports teams, and Shrine Mont is the home each year to the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival.
This quaint, nostalgic diner is a hidden gem in the Shenandoah Valley. Featuring a banquet facility on the lower level of the restaurnat that accommodates up to 100 people, Southern Kitchen is known for its excellent service and home cooked meals, including the diner’s famous fried chicken, freshly baked pies, and southern comfort food. Your guests will be welcomed as friends and leave as family.
Swover Creek Farms and Brewery has utilized its farmland for a full 18 course disc golf course. The course has been designed and is maintained by Eric Snyder and Nathan Hughes. They have maps and a small selection of loaner discs available in the tap room, but are also on the uDisc app, PDGA website, and discgolfscene.com. The course is open to the public every day during daylight hours and is free to all players. Unfortunately, all alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the course. Come play a round and grab a cold beer afterwards!
Shenandoah Meadows is a 40 acre retreat located, just 90 minutes from Washington DC in beautiful Fort Valley. The property has some of the best views the Valley has to offer and is nestled in the Massanutten mountains between the North and South Forks of the Shenandoah River. This location is perfect fo summer camps, corporate and fitness retreats, and family reunions. Overnight accomodations include chalets, cabins and camping. Enjoy the property and its amenities, or use this as a jumping off point for daily adventures into the George Washington National Forest or other area attractions!
Kindred Pointe offers breath-taking pastoral and mountain views on 58-acres of rolling pasture and vineyards. They offer scenic sites for you to host your event. Come by and visit the pavilion, barrel room, and tasting room. Not only does this venue offer gorgeous views, but a variety of landscapes. There are endless locations for that perfect picture. In addition to year-round self-guided tours, the park offers education-specific programs throughout the year. School group programs are designed around the Virginia Standards of Learning. Adult programs range from explorations of the Bushong Family and their times to the motivations of soldiers North and South.
With its wide, open spaces and communal atmosphere, the Woodstock Brewhouse evokes the feeling of winding down at a traditional German brewpub. Its original wood flooring, tall ceilings, and picture windows create an inviting space for your guests. Nostalgic wall decor, arcade games, and brewing equipment are sure to spark lively conversation. In addition to the main taproom which can seat approximately 120 people, the beer barn is attached to the building and accommodates up to 40 people.
The Yellow Barn is the most spacious Shenandoah County event venue. Pieces of agricultural history and carriages decorate the building. The Barn is only 2 minutes from I-81 so it’s easy for all of your out-of-state guests to locate and has an AirBnB within walking distance of the barn that accommodates up to 14 guests.
With over 5000 sq ft of open space, the Yellow Barn is perfect for events of all sizes and social distancing. The Barn is also equipped with a large catering kitchen and offers on-site catering. Fill out the form below for more information!
Indoor or Outdoor Ceremony Space
Adjacent to the Yellow Barn is the outdoor ceremony area. Outdoor ceremonies can accommodate up to 150 guests, and must be booked in conjunction with a reception at one of our venues. Couples can bring their own decorations, or use the gazebo already in place.
