Low Country in the Blue Ridge
Experience an intimate, five-course wine pairing dinner at the winery on November 9, as Executive Chef Christopher Carge brings South Carolina’s low country cuisine to the Blue Ridge.
Chef Carge, executive chef at Hilton Head Island’s Poseidon restaurant,
was recently featured on the Food Network and is a rising star in coastal cuisine.
The Winemaker’s Dinner will feature a conversation with Chef Carge about the menu, the waters and farms he sources from, and how the dishes compliment Star in the Valley’s wines. Winemaker Shane Waller will be on hand to discuss the 2019 harvest and what we have to look forward to with this vintage. Tickets are $125, and include both dinner and wine paired with each course.
Limited tickets are also available for a pre-dinner tasting at 6 PM of the 2019 vintage with winemaker Shane Waller. Tickets for the 2019 vintage preview are $30 for the public, and free for wine club members.
Tickets for both events go on sale August 21 and are extremely limited.
