Join us at FORT VALLEY RANCH for a horse and mule packing clinic.
Our goal is to teach you how to get you, your gear, supplies, and animals into and out of the mountains, safely and efficiently.
You will learn both traditional as well as modern packing techniques utilizing pack saddles, saddle panniers or stock saddles.
Learn to pack camping gear, horse feed or even building supplies using a variety of techniques.
We will show you how to safely lead or pony your pack animals and how to assemble a pack string to lead more than one animal.
Don’t have pack gear? No problem…Call us for suggestions on what gear you should buy for your needs. Want to try before you buy? We will have a limited amount of equipment available for demonstration and participant use. Please call us for details.
